Piazza Della Repubblica is a lively area to visit. There you will find live performers at all hours of the day as well as a carousel from the early 1900s! The piazza also has numerous restaurants to choose from with heated outdoor seating areas.





Another beautiful place to check out is the Bardini Gardens. Even in the winter time, this wide expanse of gardens is gorgeous to walk through. It features many old statues, busts, and fountains. Admission to the gardens costs 6 euros and, if you are a European citizen between the ages of 18 and 26, the cost is 2 euros.




Il Papiro Firenze is a stationary store that has hand-decorated paper, envelopes, journals, and more! If you’re lucky, one of the workers may even show you how the paper is decorated in the shop. Be sure to check out their marbled leather products as well!
