From the extremely charismatic and unique architecture to the numerous winding canals, Amsterdam is a city full of personality and beauty. There are many ways to enjoy this incredible city. For example, one can rent a bike, walk, or take a canal cruise.
One of the most exciting and beautiful ways to experience Amsterdam is with a canal cruise. There are numerous guided cruises to choose from, but the one that I booked was “The Ultimate Amsterdam Canal Cruise” on Viator (https://www.viator.com/tours/Amsterdam/All-Inclusive-2-hour-cruise/d525-62989P1?mcid=61846). Jan was an incredible tour guide with a vast knowledge of the city. The 2 hour tour includes a charcuterie board full of snacks and an open bar to enjoy as you enjoy the ride. It is offered in English and Dutch.
Another fun aspect of the city are the bikes that have been decorated and placed by Warren Gregory. These bikes are most commonly decorated with flowers, however some are adorned with clocks, vinyl records, or anything else Gregory comes up with. They are a fun way to experience art and creativity while walking the streets of Amsterdam. Once you see one, the more you will want to continue searching for more of these wonderful pieces!
